Gearworks now has Bridgestone Fuzion Tires: The Fuzion™ ZRi, a tire designed specifically for the enthusiast and tuner markets, is being introduced by Bridgestone/Firestone North American Tire, LLC (BFNT) at the SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Show . The Fuzion ZRi, a new brand of tire from BFNT that addresses this fastest growing segment in the performance tire market, will be available to retail customers in spring 2004.

The new W- V- and H-speed rated  ZRi features a directional tread pattern for great looks and optimum handling. The tire launch will be backed with a major marketing initiative, including a new Web site, www.thefuzionzone.com, complete with an exciting interactive on-line racing game

The tire, which is engineered with the company’s exclusive UNI-T® technology, will be available in more than 30, 16- to 20-inch, 30- to 60-series sizes.

UNI-T is an acronym for “Ultimate Network of Intelligent Tire Technology” found only in Bridgestone, Firestone, Dayton and select associate brand tires. One of its core technologies is a Computer Optimized Component System, CO•CS®, which uses a super computer to help determine an ideal combination of tread design, casing shape, materials and construction for a particular application.

The free tire replacement period:
If within the stated period from date of purchase (Proof of Purchase Date Required) or the stated period from the date of manufacture, whichever is to the owner’s advantage, and before wearing down to 2/32nds of an inch of remaining original useable tread, a tire covered by this warranty becomes unusable for any reason within the manufacturer’s control, such tire will be replaced free of charge (including mounting and balancing). Without proof of purchase date, the date of tire manufacture will be used to determine age. During the free tire replacement period, you may be charged applicable taxes, the cost of valve stems and disposal fees.

After the free tire replacement period:
If within the stated period from date of purchase (Proof of Purchase Date Required) or the stated period from the date of manufacture, whichever is to the owner’s advantage, and before wearing down to 2/32nds of an inch of remaining original useable tread, a tire covered by this warranty becomes unusable for any reason within the manufacturer’s control, such tire will be replaced charging the user a pro-rated amount. With out proof of purchase date, the date of tire manufacture will be used to determine age.

To determine the replacement price, the percent of used treadwear is multiplied by THE DEALER’S then current selling price for the replacement tire(s). The appropriate taxes, mounting, balancing, disposal fees and other service charges may be added to the adjustment replacement price.

30 Day Test Drive
Selected FUZION tires listed below are covered by the 30 Day Test Drive. If a retail customer who purchases eligible FUZION tires is not completely satisfied, they can return the tires to the location from which the tires were purchased within ‘30 days” of purchase for a full refund or exchange. Original proof of purchase is required. See retailer for details.
